"DALOY" is a mini comic I've done for my Visual Storytelling class. It is about the unlikely friendship of a Philippine goddess of death called Magwayen and her next victim, a sickly young girl.

 

Magwayen is usually depicted as a teenager or a young adult with beautiful looks. I wanted to depict her as a young child who doesn't understand why her job or who she is scares the human beings. But with the unlikely friendship she makes with her next target she realizes why.
